Aldelia is recruiting a Finance Manager for Maputo.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and accounting records accurately.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
• Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and manage petty cash.
• Participate in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Assist during internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Maintain accounting systems and ensure timely data entry.
• Provide financial analyses and advice to management to facilitate decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Written and spoken understanding of English is a required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, etc.) and MS Office suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Diligence, attention to detail, and high accuracy in work.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
