Action Contre la Faim (ACF) is a humanitarian association recognised as being of public benefit and founded in 1979, the organisation operates in 47 countries in the fields of nutrition, health, food security and livelihoods, water, hygiene and sanitation and mental health and care practices.
Contract duration: 6 months
Receiving base: Maputo
Availability: Imediate
Remuneration: 12,000.00 MZN (Gross monthly Income) and 13th Month paid in December (prorata depending on the starting date)
Benefits: Health insurance including partner and children (providing certificates); 2 days per month paid leaves
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES (NOT COMPLETE)
General mission:
Assist the Logistic HoD to ensure the proper functioning of supply activities.
Mission 1: Improve supply chain performance
- Update the Maputo supplier database and provide support to bases to update their data base;
- Market study on strategic markets identify;
- Analyse the possibility of local procurement for drugs.
Mission 2: Support on Maputo procurement
- LINK: Correctly upload all purchase files to Link for closing (BCF, BL/BR/Invoice);
- Collect quotations and follow up purchasing files less than 2500Euros;
- Compile purchasing files for payment to finance.
Mission 3: Improve transport performance
- Support for customs clearance: preparing and monitoring files;
- Study possibility of transport system from Maputo to Pemba;
- Analyse the possibility of importation of drugs.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Preferred diploma / level of studies:
Currently pursuing or recently completed bachelor degree with a focus on Supply, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistic or other related fields.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of hardware, software, and Supply operating systems.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Willingness to learn, curiosity and open mind.
- Motivation and dynamism.
