Cserve Corporate Services is recruiting a Finance officer to Matola.
Generic Requirements:
- Capacity of analytical and critical thinking;
- Conceptual and abstract thinking ability;
- Ability to think in a long-term perspective;
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills;
- Excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
- Either CMA, CFA with 4 to 5 years’ experience in FMCG or Accounting graduate with minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in FMCG.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
Responsibilities:
- Leading monthly closure of books which includes, stock counts, Bank reconciliation, customer and vendor reconciliation, statutory liabilities reconciliation and other expenses and income reconciliation;
- Full P&L responsibility, including accuracy of SAP results. Preparation of P&L report and schedules and get the same reviewed within timeline;
- Preparation of TB schedules and getting the same reviewed on timely manner;
- Maintain controls and governance within the unit for payments, GRNs and accuracy of sales booking;
- Ensuring support to business by managing treasury requirements;
- Manage credit control and exposure for customers;
- Liaise with Banks for forex and other operational requirements;
- Supporting finance controller in preparation of monthly MIS like overhead analysis, book value report, fair value report, NIS health checks, BRM, validating analysis sent by OGBS team, etc;
- Support financial controller in preparation of budgets for financial year;
- Managing day to day affairs of unit including data entry;
- Coordinating with sales and plant team to get work completed;
- Ensure tax and statutory audits are completed timely.
