A Huawei Technologies Mozambique, Limitada está a recrutar um Technical Director para Maputo.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery and operational performance of Managed Services projects across RAN, Transmission, Core, IP, and Network Operations.
• Ensure network availability, reliability, performance and SLA compliance in line with customer requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for network operations, fault management, service assurance, optimization and major incident resolution.
• Manage technical relationships and escalations with key service provider customers.
• Drive network performance improvement, operational efficiency, automation and service quality initiatives.
• Oversee technical teams and ensure effective delivery of 24/7 network operations and maintenance.
• Manage technical risks, capacity requirements, network upgrades and service continuity.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, Huawei processes, telecommunications standards and applicable regulations.
• Provide technical direction on new technologies, network evolution and improvement projects.
• Develop technical capability through coaching, mentoring and performance management of engineering teams.
• Drive automation, digitalization and process improvements to improve operational efficiency and reduce service-impacting incidents.
• Ensure timely and effective management of major incidents, emergency situations and network outages, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive preventive maintenance, network optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stablish a culture of accountability, technical excellence, customer focus and continuous improvement across the Managed Services organization.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication skills.
• Extensive experience in Telecommunications Managed Services and Network Operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of RAN, Core, Transmission/IP and network service assurance.
• Proven experience managing large-scale telecom operator projects and technical teams.
• Experience working with major South African service providers.
• Strong customer management, technical problem-solving and leadership skills.

Basic Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Have at least 5 years of experience.
• Full availability to work.

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
