A Huawei Technologies Mozambique, Limitada está a recrutar um Huawei Cloud Business Development Manager (HCS) para Maputo.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the business development and sales of Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS) solutions in the Mozambique market, achieving assigned sales targets.
- Identify and develop business opportunities with government, financial institutions, and large enterprise customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand customer business needs, and promote Huawei Cloud solutions that deliver business value.
- Lead the entire sales cycle, including opportunity identification, customer engagement, solution positioning, commercial negotiation, contract signing, and payment collection.
- Work closely with pre-sales, product, delivery, and partner teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and manage the local partner ecosystem to expand Huawei Cloud HCS market coverage.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to formulate effective business development strategies.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer-facing and relationship management capabilities.
- Ability to understand customer business requirements and work with technical teams to develop solution-based proposals.
- Proven ability to identify business opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and drive complex sales cycles.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in ICT, cloud computing, or enterprise solution sales.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably serving government, financial services, telecom operators, or large enterprise customers.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing, data centers, virtualization, servers, storage, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS), VMware, private cloud, hybrid cloud, or enterprise cloud solutions.
- Experience with leading cloud or ICT vendors such as Huawei Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, Dell Technologies, or HPE.
- Familiarity with the ICT market in Mozambique or Southern Africa.
- Existing relationships with government agencies, telecom operators, financial institutions, or large enterprises will be an advantage.
- Previous working experience in Africa is preferred.
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Portuguese proficiency is highly preferred.
- Chinese language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
