Full-time HR Coordinator

Aldelia is recruiting a HR Coordinator for Maputo.

Summary:

Provide operational support to the Human Resources function, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes under the guidance of Admin & Finance Manager. Solid base in HR or administration, detail-oriented, discreet, and eager to learn Ponticelli’s HR systems and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment logistics (posting jobs, scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates)
  • Support onboarding processes (documentation, induction, compliance with Mozambique labor law)
  • Maintain HR records (contracts, leave, attendance, training files) in compliance with GDPR and local data protection rules
  • Coordinate training sessions and track employee development plans
  • Provide administrative support for payroll preparation and benefits administration
  • Act as first point of contact for employee queries, escalating when needed
  • Support HR reporting (headcount, turnover, training hours)
  • Preparation of statutory filings : tax and social obligations
  • Possible relationships with public authorities (Social Security, Tax Administration).

Requirements:

  • Solid base in HR, administration, or business studies.
  • Knowledge of Mozambique labor law and HR compliance frameworks (basic level, trainable).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (Portuguese & English essential).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge of HR software (Primavera) appreciated.
  • Discretion and reliability in handling confidential information.
